I discovered the connection between food and mood through my own journey battling the ups and downs of everyday life. My moods were sometimes so volatile that I didn't even want to be around myself!
I saw a huge difference in how I was feeling simply by making some changes in my diet
I have always had a love and fascination of food. How it looks, how it tastes, the simplicity of combining foods to create an explosion of flavors and sheer palatable pleasure.
And ultimately, I now love sharing my knowledge of food's value in influencing our moods.
My bachelor's degree in psychology has shown me the impact that our DNA, environment and society can have on us.
However, that knowledge didn’t quite satisfy my curiosity for how we contribute to our own overall health and wellness.
I became Certified in Holistic Nutrition upon graduating from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition where I was able to combine by previous knowledge with the new and discover the connection between the state of our body, mind, and spirit and what we’re eating.
